British and Irish Male Choir

As part of the Palmerston North Winter Festival, the British and Irish Lions Male Choir will be performing in Palmerston North during their three-week tour supporting the Lions Rugby team. The choriesters, drawn from all over the home nations, will be performing at the Palmerston North Conference & Function Centre on Friday 30 June 2017 at 2.00pm.

Gang Show

GangShow

Manawatu Gang Show is being performed at the Regent on Broadway from Wednesday 28 June until Saturday 1 July. This is a fun variety show produced and performed by members of the Scout and Girl Guiding Movements. The show features 17 items - singing, dancing, acting and all of it entertaining. Tickets are $23 for adults and $14 for children. Bookings can be made at www.ticketdirect.co.nz or at the Regent.

Bins For Better Schools

Awatapu College is pleased to be on board with Waste Management’s Bins For Better Schools initiative. Under this exciting initiative, when customers sign up to an annual Waste Management residential subscription and nominate Awatapu College, Waste Management will give our school up to $24 per annum. The more customers who sign up under the Bins For Better Schools initiative, the more money Awatapu College could receive from Waste Management to help fund school trips, upgrade facilities or purchase new state of the art equipment and technology. PN Youth Council Competition

The Palmerston North Youth Council is holding a competition for youths aged 12-24 years to find out what changes need to made to make a happier environment for youth. Applicants can send in art, an essay, a creative writing piece or a short film which answers this question: "What is your ideal New Zealand for young people?".
