Japanese Trivia Contest

Congratulations to the Japanese students who participated in the New Zealand Schools Japanese Trivia Championships held at the IPU Campus on Friday 16 June. Teams answered questions based on Japanese culture and general knowledge, and were encouraged to dress up in traditional Japanese clothing. Team One, Heidi Scott, Eva Malone, Kip Powell and Taylor Rawiri (pictured to the right), were the overall winners of the night scoring the trophy for a third year in a row!! Congratulations also to Team Two, Jayde Cuff, Henry Fyles, Annelies Orme and Kaiya Richards-Valentine, who came 5th, and Team Three, Floor Schalk, Heidi Turnbull, Connor Frizzell and Jessica Hargreaves, who came 3rd. Well done.
