Manawatu Secondary School Sports Awards 2018

NCEA Exam StudyExams

NCEA Exams

NZQA exams run Wednesday 7 November - Friday 30 November. All exams are three hours, starting at either 9.30am or 2pm, and will take place in the College Auditorium unless stated otherwise. Students should arrive at least 20 minutes early.

Senior Honours Awards

Senior Honours Awards will be held on Tuesday 6 November at the Regent Theatre at 7.30pm.

Students receiving an award must attend the practice on the same day. These students (along with all other students) will attend school in the morning as per normal. Buses will leave from the school for the Regent Theatre at 10am and return to school at approximately 12 noon. They must travel by bus – private cars are not permitted. A roll will be taken at the Theatre.

Attendance at Honours Awards on Wednesday evening is compulsory for all Year 11, 12 and 13 students. If students are unable to attend, a note must be presented to a Head of House. Students must be seated in the Theatre by 7.20pm at the latest.

Year 11 students receiving an award must be in full school uniform. Girls must wear black leather lace up shoes and black stockings. Boys must wear black leather lace up shoes and school socks. Sandals are not permitted. All other students must be dressed formally. The College mufti code applies – please note that shorts, jeans, tee-shirts and sport shoes are not acceptable dress for Honours Awards.
