Pūhoro Maori STEM Scholarship

Congratulations to Shelby Nicholson and Ruairi Daniela who have been selected to attend a fully funded trip to Houston, USA, as part of the Pūhoro Maori STEM Academy run by Massey University. These students were selected from over 70 applicants and were chosen due to their commitment to the programme, their outstanding grades, and positive community involvement.

This trip will take place in the April school holidays and will give the students a chance to explore NASA, speak to Mana Vautier (a New Zealand Astronaut) and watch the Vex Robotics World Championships. This is an amazing opportunity that both Shelby and Ruairi are very deserving of. Congratulations to both of these students and also a big thank you to Massey University and their sponsors for making this fantastic trip a reality.
