Boots

If you have any football/rugby/touch boots you have grown out of, please consider donating them to the school. All boots will be given to a good home! Boots can be left with Mrs Daysh in the Gym.

Seeking Success Op Shop

OpShop

The Seeking Success Op Shop is back again for 2018 and is open every Tuesday - Friday at lunchtime. The Op Shop stocks a variety of male and female clothing, as well as a selection of shoes and accessories. Items are just $2 with all proceeds going directly to the Seeking Success fund. This is a fund that has been set up by Awatapu College students for the direct benefit of their peers facing financial difficulty to help fund their co-curricular activities, e.g. sports fees, school camps etc. If you have any quality clothing you would like to donate, please bring your laundered items to the school office.

Road Safety

Given the increasing roll size of the school, we would ask that parents/caregivers use the bus bay or front carpark when dropping-off or picking-up their child. Please avoid driving into the College grounds and refrain from parking on the yellow lines down Botanical Road.

Central Energy Trust Bursaries

CET Bursary

Congratulations to former students Jakaia Williams and Helen Liu who were awarded Central Energy Trust Bursaries for 2018. Both students were presented with their awards at the ceremony held on 20 February 2018. Recipients for Central Energy Trust bursaries are selected based on a combination of factors including academic record, participation in cultural, sport or community activities, and future leadership potential. Receiving a Central Energy Trust bursary is an incredible achievement and only comes as a result of a significant amount of work, both at school and in the community. We are extremely proud of Jakaia and Helen and wish them well in their future endeavours.
