Hauora Week

Hauora Colouring Competition

Hauora is all about total wellness. At Awatapu College we want to support each student to reach their full potential through wellness. In Week 8 we are having a Hauora festival to promote the different ways of wellness leading up to exams. There is something for everyone; a 3 on 3 basketball competition, colouring competition (picture attached) and stress buster/mindfulness workshops. These will happen over lunchtimes on 10th and 11th September. Colouring competition entries are also available from the Guidance suite.

SPCA Cupcake Fundraiser

Well done to Floor Schalk who raised $240 for the SPCA on SPCA Cupcake Day. Floor and her friends, with some help from family members, baked up a storm and then Floor sold the cupcakes all over town. Well done!
